ICREGA’16 aims at gathering scientists and engineers from academia and industry to discuss the generation and applications in the broad field of Renewable Energy (RE) applications.
The advanced Applications of Optimization techniques were introduced recently in different scopes of power systems. Applications of optimization techniques for RE based power systems: Generation and Applications were recently suggested. These techniques such as Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm( PS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and recently Harmony Search (HS), … etc, were considered as Optimization Techniques used for different problems in power systems. The recent applications of optimization techniques were introduced and discussed. Meanwhile, many Evolutionary Computational techniques are used with RE Generation and Applications.
This special session is dedicated to study the application of different optimization tools in RE based power systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
► Optimal layout of wind farm design.
► Optimal sizing and allocation for different components in RE –based power systems.
► Optimal control in RE-base hybrid power systems.
► Optimal energy management of multi-source power systems
► Dynamic energy pricing of multi-source power systems.
